The Sixth Manuel de Solà-Morales European Prize 2027 recognises outstanding PhD research in urbanism carried out at European universities. Eligible theses must have been presented between 1 January 2022 and 30 September 2026.

Urban Research & Practice is making a special call for submissions for its Practice Section. Practitioners, policymakers, community actors, activists and researchers are invited to submit 300-word abstracts by 8 June 2026 on innovative urban practices, projects and place-based initiatives shaping cities today.
