In spring 2024, in a New York conference room at the International Conference on Urban Affairs, academics put heads together and cogitated on the evolution of the EURA Conversation blog series. One result of that meet-up? A twin series of blogs, written by myself and my colleague from the University of Palermo, Dr Stefania Crobe, focusing on our shared passion: arts-based methods in urban research. EURA Conversations is digital space for international exchange between urban scholars. It was created with the idea of providing a democratic arena to share experiences, offer reflections and encourage dialogue within the EURA community. Recently, the series entered a new era, one which aims to make the series more interactive, providing space for two voices: a leader setting out an idea, and a responder offering an initial reaction. It is also easier for readers to contribute their ideas to the international conversation via the comments section below each contribution.
