Job Announcement

Postdoc­toral re­searcher, urban pop­u­la­tion dynamics at the Institute of Urban and Regional Studies (University of Helsinki)

The Institute is seeking a talented and highly motivated postdoctoral researcher in Urban Studies with a focus in Urban Population Dynamics. The postdoctoral researcher is expected to focus in his/her research on urban population dynamics and population phenomena with a special focus on the Helsinki Capital Region...

The postdoctoral researcher will be offered a contract for a two to three year fixed-term period starting from the 1st of January 2019 onwards (or as agreed).

The European Urban Research Association would like to thank Tilburg Center for Regional Law and Governance (TiREG) at Tilburg University for hosting the EURA conference 2018. EURA is greatly indebted to the TiREG team for making the conference possible. Acknowledgement to Central Eastern University in Budapest for hosting the joined ECPR/LOGOPOL/EURA Summer School

The annual joined summer school took place between the 9th and 13th of July 2018 and was hosted by the Central Eastern University in the centre of Budapest. CEU provided the perfect ambience for stimulating lectures and discussions for 23 PhD candidates and the lecturers. Our special thanks goes to Prof. Pawel Swianiewicz (Warsaw) and Prof. Filipe Teles (Aveiro) and the staff of CEU who organised the Summer Schools in a very thorough way. EURA would also like to thank all the speakers and participants. The summer school has been a great joy and pleasure to all of us. We remain grateful for the hospitality of CEU.
