The Urban Affairs Association (UAA) invites proposal submissions for paper, poster, panel, colloquy, and roundtable sessions to stimulate thinking and re-thinking of urban affairs, and to widen intellectual and professional networks.
UAA 2023 will feature approximately 200 interdisciplinary sessions, a variety of professional development and networking opportunities, book exhibits, and more. Over 1000 international researchers and doctoral students attend the conference each year.

In addition to the conference theme, UAA encourages proposals that focus on an array of research topics including:
