The conference programme is planned to include two special sessions: one dedicated to strategies for environmental sustainability and another to replicating and strengthening integrated measures for the energy-climate transition through transnational municipal co-operation.
How to Participate
Papers are invited on the topics outlined and others falling within the scope of the meeting. Abstracts of no more than 300 words should be submitted as soon as possible. Delegates may also attend without submitting a paper. Submit your abstract online or by emailing the Conference Coordinator below.
Registration Fee:
Registration fee includes an electronic copy of the conference publication, other documentation and refreshments.
- €700 - Session chair & ISAC Member Registration Fee (includes a hard copy of the conference publication and an invitation to the conference dinner)
- €900 - General Registration Fee
- €550 - Student Registration Fee (proof of student status will be required)
Publication of Papers:
Peer review
To ensure the quality of our publications, abstracts and papers are double peer-reviewed by members of the International Scientific Advisory Committee and other experts, with manuscripts processed through CrossRef Similarity Check to screen for plagiarism.
Publication
Papers presented at the conference are to be published in a volume of WIT Transactions on Ecology and the Environment (Electronic ISSN: 1743-3541). The publication will be available in both electronic and hard copy.
Indexing
The WIT Transactions are DOI registered with CrossRef and are currently listed in indexing services such as Scopus and Google Scholar, as well as being submitted to the Web of Science. All conference books are listed in the British Library and American Library of Congress.
Open Access and Digital Archive
All conference papers are archived permanently on our electronic library where they can be downloaded for free (www.witpress.com/elibrary).
Abstract Submission
Abstracts of no more than 300 words should be submitted as soon as possible by completing the form below. Abstracts should clearly state the purpose, results and conclusions of the work to be described in the final paper. Please submit only one abstract per person.
Once your abstract has been reviewed, you will be notified of the acceptance of your abstract and be given a submission date as well as instructions on how to prepare your paper.
Final acceptance will be based on the full-length paper, which if accepted for publication, must be presented at the conference.
We encourage early submission of abstracts and papers to facilitate registration and travel arrangements. The language of the conference will be English.
