EURA 2027 – Announcement

We are delighted to announce the location and host of the EURA 2027 Annual Conference, marking the 30th anniversary of the European Urban Research Association. Location: Aveiro, Portugal. Dates: 17–19 June 2027. Theme: “Centres, Margins and the Future of Territory: Reconfiguring Urban Governance”. Host: University of Aveiro, co-organised with the University of Palermo. EURA 2026 – Acknowledgment

EURA 2026 – Best Paper Award

The papers titled "Learning to Reconfigure Housing Provision: Industrialised Construction and Collaborative Governance in Times of Crisis", by Emanuel Diogo and Alexandra Paio, and "Urban Regeneration, Social Impact Assessment and AI: Mediating Knowledge for Adaptive Governance", by Riccardo Palazzolo Henkes, won the EURA 2026 Best Conference Paper Award.

EURA 2026 – Emerging Scholar Award

The paper titled "Amalgamation, Promised Decentralisation, and the Politics of “Uniqueness”: Local Narratives and Reform Legitimacy in Armenia", by Arman Gasparyan (KU Leuven), won the EURA 2026 Emerging Scholar Award. Congratulations once again to the winner and thank you to all PhD and emerging researchers who submitted papers.
