Save the date for Aveiro
The EURA 2027 Annual Conference will take place at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, from 17 to 19 June 2027. This special edition will mark the 30th anniversary of the European Urban Research Association, bringing the EURA community together to reflect on three decades of urban research, exchange and international collaboration.
Under the theme “Centres, Margins and the Future of Territory: Reconfiguring Urban Governance”, the conference will explore changing relations between centres and margins, territorial inequalities, multilevel governance, environmental transitions, housing, participation, mobility and the future of urban and regional studies.
The organising team is currently preparing the dedicated conference website and the full Call for Papers. Further information on the conference tracks, submission guidelines, deadlines, keynote speakers, registration and practical arrangements will be announced through the official EURA channels.
