#82 Local soft spaces planning

In Conversation #82, Carsten Jahn Hansen reflects on the growing use of “soft spaces” planning at the local level. Drawing on research from Denmark, he explores how informal, non-statutory spatial plans can bridge gaps between neighbourhoods, investors and authorities, while also raising new challenges in relation to coordination, legitimacy and the interaction between soft and hard planning spaces.
