EURA/AAPA New Partnership

The European Urban Research Association (EURA) President Prof. Filipe Teles has recently signed a new Partnership Agreement with the Asian Association for Public Administration (AAPA) President, Prof. Jiannan Wu.

The AAPA was established in 2010 with the aim to expand and improve research and academic exchange on public administration and public policy in the Asian region.
To meet these objectives, AAPA holds conferences and symposia on an annual basis in one of the locations in the area.

The main aim of the recently signed partnership agreement between EURA and AAPA has as main objective the development of a broad range of interchanges in all areas of research, education, practice and other activities.
The cooperation and mutual work between the Associations will contribute towards the regionalisation and the globalisation of both associations, and therefore boost European-Asian links.
Joint programmes and activities will include the exchange and dissemination of academic information, joint research projects, jointly organised seminars, workshops and conferences.

EURA has other active partners which play an important international role in urban related issues. Our partners include: theAssociation of European Schools of Planning (AESOP), the Association of European Schools of Planning (AESOP), the Urban Affairs Association (UAA), and the ECPR Standing Group on Local Government and Politics (LOGOPOL).
We invite you to find out more about our partnerships!
